this month, the drawing group i belong to opened its first exhibit:
the collection consists of water-based paintings inspired by travels and nature.
here are the works i am showing:
as this was my first exhibit back home, i have come out of it with many lessons learned. what is important is that i am truly proud of myself. i feel very accomplished this year!
earlier this month, i visited georgetown in penang, malaysia. it is a UNESCO world heritage site for “having a unique architectural and cultural townscape without parallel anywhere in East and Southeast Asia” (thanks wikipedia!). and true enough, the place is surrounded by art – full of murals, iron sculptures, galleries and anything and everything quaint.
exploring the town with a rented bike and a free map, i discovered these gems:
flight and travel, slide
cat cafe cat
who needs a glass?
little boy with dinosaur
minion on duty
brother and sister
little girl in blue
bak kut teh vendor
artsy art supplies
